Desk Luminaire – 2017

The great adjustability of desk lamps was this designs’ main inspiration. Splitting different kinds of adjustability up into sliding, turning, orienting and tuning lead to a design that reflects every type of adjustment possible in its formal language. Light color and intensity are set with gestures or by touching the stand. With the mentoring of Felix Winkler, the director of product development at Serien Raumleuchten in Germany, also manufacturability, LED-cooling and safety issues were considered during the design process.

The luminaire will be exhibited at the 2019 Salone del Mobile in Milan. I want to thank everyone involved for their work and support.
